Did you vote yes to create an independent redistricting commission to eliminate partisan politics in drawing congressional maps? If so, your vote could be wiped out by Proposition 50.

At the end of this year’s session, Newsom whipped the Legislature into approving a Special Election (and funding it for almost $300M!) to put his “Election Rigging Response Act” before the voters on November 4th.

Tim Anaya, VP of Marketing and Communications with Pacific Research Institute, joins us to offer the history of redistricting, when it’s supposed to be use, why it’s used, and the impact it has on the political landscape.
